It costs 0.45p per mile, the standard rate provided by HMRC.
In short? Yes. This is possible, however, weddings can be incredibly tiring, and overwhelming / stressful for many dogs, especially if there are large numbers of people attending.
Dependent on what you envision for your day, we recommend that the maximum time spent at a wedding should really be no longer than 2.5 hours.
This should allow plenty of time for meeting and greeting guests, snapping photos and completing any wedding duties as originally requested.
However, should you wish to include your dog in your day for longer than the advised amount of time, we will work with you to ensure that your dog stays happy and healthy in the meantime.
Yes. Absolutely.
All of the packages offered, are completely bespoke and are tailored to you. The packages are there to show you the basic services you should/can expect, however you are not obligated to have everything that is listed. The initial consultation, or even any correspondence before then will help to ensure that your package completely suits what you are looking for on your day.
We can accept a maximum of four dogs, however our preference is three only. Dependent on the breed size, we may reduce these numbers.
Weddings that are over 12 weeks away, require a 30% booking fee to secure the date. Weddings under 12 weeks away, require the full balance to be settled upfront.
Dates can be held into the diary for four days. If payment hasn’t been received by the fourth day from date of invoice, these dates will be released.
We understand that sometimes, different environments can be exceptionally stressful for several dogs. This is why we offer familiarisation meetings, which often helps in these cases. Often, the initial consultations aren't always accurate representations of how a dog reacts when not in the owners presence, so the familiarisation meetings help to widen our understanding of the dogs behaviour and personality.
In rare cases, some dogs do not settle after these meetings, which is when we would honestly discuss better options that suit your circumstances - such as Home Sitting.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer or card payment. Invoices and Contracts are generated through the secure portal Square.
If, for whatever reason, your dog does not pass it’s trial, we will work with you to try come up with an alternative solution that meets your needs.
If this is not possible, we will refund your 30% booking fee or upfront payment through bank transfer, or the Square payment portal.
In short, unfortunately not.
Your 30% booking would only be refunded in the case of - immediate family illness, Covid-19 or an unsuccessful Trial Day & Night.
Mileage is calculated by totalling the overall mileage between HHWs Home Postcode - ML11 8TP and the Clients specified location.I.e. ML11 8TP to Cornhill Castle Hotel = 12 Miles. 24 Miles Round Trip / 0.45p x 24 = £10.80 (mileage is within package allocation, and therefore would not be charged)
